Norma Jean Burton

Norma Jean Burton (Hunt) of Coos Bay Oregon, entered into eternal life with her Lord Jesus on December 29, 2023 at 97 years of age.   She was born in Hanover, Illinois, on November 16, 1926.
 
 She is preceded in death by her Husband of 29 years, Kenneth Burton Sr, and Her sons, Colman D Bishop and Randall Kirk Bishop, her parents Orrin Glen and Florence (Williams) Hunt, her sister Marilyn Hunt Rose, and her brother Delmer J Reed.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Debbie (George) McGeorge, and her son C Scott Daves. Her Grandchildren Jenniffer (Robert) Atkins, Ginger (James) Wood, Amanda (Landra) Daves, Alexander (Natalie) Daves, Aric Daves, Aaron Daves and Allen Daves.  Her Great-grandchildren Jamie (Christopher) Jongetjes. Stephen Clark, Patrick Clark, Connor Atkins, Riley Atkins, Reagan Atkins, Ashley Daves, Alasdair Daves, Arvin Daves and Melody Daves.

Norma worked for Tura Eyeglass Frames until her retirement in the 1980s. She continued to make amazing eyeglass chains that she sold to optical shops while enjoying travel with her husband Ken.  She enjoyed playing cards with her former retirement home friends, as well as having her great-grandchildren visit her later in life and making beautiful memories that they will treasure forever.
