Services for Marie Dickison Corrie, 101, will be held at the Bridge Community Church at 11 am on April 23, 2022. Private family service will be at Norway Cemetery.
Marie was born April 23, 1920 in Washugal, Wash., to Hillard Dickison and Myrtle Birdsell Dickison Weston.
She was married to Roscoe “Ross” Corrie on April 13, 1937 in Corning, Calif. The family moved to Coos County in 1951, settling in Charleston. In 1958 they moved to the Myrtle Point area.
She and Ross where active in the Arago Community Church before they retired from the dairy industry. After they retired, they moved to Bridge. She was a member of the Bridge Community Church and the Bridge Grange.
Marie is survived by daughter, Patricia of Alsea, Oregon; grandchildren, Pamela Russell and husband Rob; Brian Martin and wife Deann; Sharon Langeliers and husband Mark, Echo Corrie-Boley and husband Marc, William Eugene Corrie-Kuntz and wife Toni; great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jordyn, Chase, Jared, Brady, Tanner, Cassidy, Zachary, Dawn, William, Heather, Walker, Ty and Ethan; great-great-grandchildren, Henry Ross, Madilynne, Emily, Hudson and Branch, Delaynie and Aria; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross in 2008 and a son William Eugene in 2014.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the Bridge Community Church.
