Loyd Wayne Latimer Jr.

Loyd was born on April 26, 1955 in Sheridan, OR to Loyd Sr. and Evelyn (LaChance) Latimer.  He died October 10, 2022 in Coos Bay.

He grew up in Dora and graduated from Myrtle Point High School.  He worked as a logger and millwright all of his life until he retired.  In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, riding his bicycle and helping out friends and neighbors.

Loyd is survived by his daughters; Sarah Latimer and Chasity Latimer; and sister, Nona Louthan.  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenda Latimer and sisters Sharon Hyatt and Patty White.
