Lester Jarrell

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 at Langlois Community Church for Sixes resident, Lester L. Jarrell, III, who died June 3, 2019 in Bandon at the age of 65.

Les was born December 13, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Lester L., Jr & Sue Carolyn Peake Jarrell.

His father was in the US Navy so Les moved around the country as a youth.  He graduated from San Diego State with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.  He spent his career as an electrical design engineer and enjoyed consulting and developing various ideas and prototypes to fruition.

He married Shandry Stowell on June 15, 1979.

He enjoyed motorcycle riding and helping others.  He was an invaluable member of the Sixes Fire Dept and had been a member of Search & Rescue in Elko, Nevada.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Shandry; brother, Daniel Jarrell and a brother –in-law, Richard Stowell.
