Juanita Eleanor Lingo August 17, 1946 - July 20, 2025 Nita was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was fun loving, social and loved by all. Born August 17th 1946 in Kent, Washington to Jaunita and Harry Parr. She grew up in a large family with her sisters Shirley, Marlene, and Harriet and brothers Charlie and Harry. Her parents and siblings have preceded her in death. Nita met the love of her life, Lee Lingo while working at a bar in Ferndale, Washington. He walked into the bar, saw her and said “That’s the girl I’m going to marry.” They were married June 21, 1975 and spent the next 50 years raising four kids in Blaine, Washington, traveling the country after their kids were grown, and having the best time together wherever they went. In 2016 they settled in Port Orford, Oregon to be a little closer to family and enjoy the beauty of the Oregon Coast. On July 20, 2025 Nita lost her battle with cancer and died surrounded by loving family and friends. We will miss her so much and always remember the fun we had camping, playing cards and just living a wonderful life. Nita is survived by: Her husband Lee Lingo Daughter Kim Mason and grandchildren Christopher, Skylar, and Mitchell Daughter Kris Trueblood, son-in-law Mike Trueblood and grandchildren Taylor and Nathan Son Robert Tollum and grandchildren Bryleigh, Jourdyn, and Jacob.
