Jamie Russell was born in Newark, New York on May 19, 1960. She was the daughter of James & Muriel (DePotie) Russell. She entered Heaven’s gates on January 20, 2020.
Jamie grew up in Western New York, moved to Southern California in the 1980’s and then relocated to the Southern Coast of Oregon in the 1990’s.
She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and homemaker. Jamie was a remarkable cook and baker. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially around the holidays. She could make friends wherever she went – she didn’t know a stranger. For many years leading up to her passing, she collected Piggy Banks, Koala Bears, and Winnie the Pooh. She had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She loved to make crafts, such as cards, necklaces and magnets. She was known for her love of her cats.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father James Russell. She is survived by her husband Rick White, mother Muriel Russell, daughter Jessica (Chris) Andersen, granddaughter Lynnea Andersen, sisters Kay Russell, and Terri Russell, nieces Brooke (Tim) Nelissen, Trinity (Jacob) Willings, Brenna (Joe) Watkins, several great nephews Christian, William, and Dylan and a great niece Samantha.
A family celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
