Gene Curtis Neumann, 83, passed away on December 21, 2020 unexpectedly. He was born September 4, 1937, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota to Walter and Lydia. After graduating from high school, he moved to Oregon and lived in Coquille his entire life. He worked for several years at Georgia Pacific Wood Products and for the Coos County Road Department where he retired.
He lived a full life and could fix anything he set his mind to. Some of his interests were hunting, fishing, camping and model trains. He also was an avid collector.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne; two daughters, Cindy and Heidi; and five step-children, Tory, Taun, Todd, Tony, Ty and Melissa.
Gene will be remembered for his courage in facing challenges with a positive attitude and will be missed greatly by those who knew him.
