Frances Jonsson

Frances “Francie” Dianne Jonsson, 72, of Coquille, OR, was called home to glory on June 7, 2026.

Francie is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Jonsson; her children William T (Renee) Jonsson, Paul (Julie) Jonsson, Dianna (David) Freitag, and Amanda Jonsson; five grandchildren, Alana, Joshua, Payton, Caleb, and Brianna; mother, Marian Rawlings; and three siblings, Sally Fears, Clinton Rawlings, and Kenneth Rawlings. She is preceded in death by her father Clinton Thane Rawlings.

Francie had a love of animals with a special fondness for training dogs. She trained several puppies that became service dogs and taught dog obedience classes. She won numerous awards for competing in agility, musical freestyle, and rally free competitions with her cherished herding dogs.

Francie was welcoming and generous. She enjoyed helping women and children and was known for her many years of service. Whether leading Vacation Bible School, instructing women in firearm safety, or teaching young mothers, she truly had a passion for improving the lives of others.

Her memorial service will be Saturday July 25th 2026, 12:00pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coquille. A meal and reception will immediately follow.
