The family of Erick Dale Gulseth are celebrating his life on March 19, 2022 at 2 PM at the Coos County Fairgrounds in Myrtle Point.
Rick was born June 23, 1961 in Myrtle Point, Oregon. After a year and a half, on December 15, 2021, he lost his battle with cancer with his family by his side.
Rick enjoyed life. He was an in the moment guy who loved his family first and foremost. He followed out his love for logging when he was 18 and spent his entire work life working out in the woods. Rick worked for Grant Creek Logging for many years and had the opportunity to work alongside of his son. He also loved fishing, camping, riding motorcycles and grilling his favorite foods. Rick had a zest for life and loved his family more than anything. Family get-togethers were a top priority to Rick and most of his weekends were spent with good food, lots of laughs and his family.
Rick is survived by his wife Jeri Gulseth, his children Amanda Gulseth and Richard, Lisa Gulseth and Steve, Brian Gulseth and his wife Rosy Gulseth and his step daughter January Bressman, his brothers Doug Gulseth and Brad Gulseth and their families, his step dad Richard Huntley, his Grandchildren Coby, Danica, Saraea, Ryker, Makenzie, Maryssa and Alanna, the mother of his children, Teresa Korbe-Sowell, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other distant relatives.
Preceded in death by his parents Arlene Huntley and Oly Gulseth, his brother Rod Gulseth, his grandparents Leona and Ernest Bryant, and Elsie Mae King, his great grandmother, his granddaughter Haygan and his stepson Anthony Jordan.
Rick will be forever loved and missed. His smile, laughter and wisdom will be remembered by the many lives he touched. Until we see you again…
