Dwight "Bo" Culver Obituary

The loss of a loved one is a profound experience that touches the lives of many. On May 2, 2025, the family mourned the passing of Dwight "Bo" Alen Culver, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His absence represents not just the loss of an individual but also a void in the lives of those who knew him deeply and loved him dearly.

Bo was born on July 27, 1957, in Myrtle Point to Everett “Seep” and Doris (Schulz) Culver, and throughout his life, he exemplified dedication to both family and vocation. His retirement from the Oregon State Highway Department in 2005 marked a transition that he embraced wholeheartedly. After years of service, Bo devoted his time to his passions—hunting, working with heavy equipment on his farm, and restoring cars. His favorite project was the restoration of a 1932 five-window coupe, a vehicle he first purchased at the tender age of 16. This project became a labor of love, as he collaborated with his friend Brady Sadoff to bring the car back to driving condition just months before his passing.

Bo's life was filled with cherished memories, each grounded in profound connections with family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda A. Culver, his daughter, Amy Culver, brother Douglas culver and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Samantha Croucher her husband Cody, Sierra and Nikko Cossins, Wyatt Arzner, Chloe Williams, Jonathan Anthony and wife Abrianna, Josh Anthony and Mercedes Long. Peyton Jonas, Tempest Croucher, Lily Anthony, Xavier and Zailah Cossins, and Jonathan Long.

Bo was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Linda and step son Jeremy Anthony.

In celebrating the life of Dwight "Bo" Alen Culver, let us remember him not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the moments we shared.

A celebration of life will be held at the Culver ranch on Sunday, May 18th beginning at 11am.
