Doy Ray Fults was born July 7, 1941 in a one room house in the backwoods of Boxley Valley Arkansas to Hugh and Macie Fults. As a young child his family moved to Missouri, then finally to Oregon. He attended school in Coquille and was in the Class of 1959.
He married Linda Lee Brown on July 1, 1961. They made a life in Arago and soon welcomed three children.
Doy spent nearly 40 years working at Georgia Pacific as a supervisor and retired in 2001 as safety consultant.
He was the cornerstone of his family and was respected by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his friends and family.
He passed away to be with his Lord February 12, 2021.
He is survived by Son Darren and Toni Fults of Myrtle Point. Daughter Dede and Wes Kincheloe of Arago. Daughter in-law Beth Fults of Albany. Granddaughters Stacy and Jason Smith of Myrtle Point, Megan and Jeremy Peart of Cottage Grove. Grandson Thomas and Amanda Kincheloe of Myrtle Point. Granddaughter Amy and Ben Bedwell of Powers. Great Grandsons Tyler Smith of Myrtle Point, Zachary and Braiden Peart of Cottage Grove. Great Granddaughters Davney and Myra Smith of Myrtle Point. Great Grandsons Landon Kincheloe of Myrtle Point, Silas and Bryer Bedwell of Powers and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Linda Lee Fults. Parents Hugh and Macie Fults. Brother Doyle Fults. Son Danny Fults and Nephew Dennis Fults.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2:00PM at the Bandon Christian Fellowship, 1190 Face Rock Drive, Bandon, Oregon. The family will privately lay him to rest at Norway Cemetery next to his beloved wife Linda.
