Corliss "Cory" Cay Courtright

Cory as she was known, was born February 26, 1956 in Myrtle Point to John and Dorothy (Howe) Courtright, she went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2021 in Coquille.

Cory grew up in Coquille and graduated in the class of 1974.

She was a fixture at Denny pizza for many years.  She had a contagious laugh and sense of humor.  Everyone loved Cory.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Jim Murphy, daughter; Denise Bertrand; sisters, Terry Middleton and partner Dave Clausen; Carrie Ann and Richard Shields; brother, Rich Courtright.  Four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cory was preceded in death by her parents; sister in law, Rosemary Courtright; nephew Kelly Wechter and her beloved daughter, Leah Nicole Freeman.

Cory cherished the outpouring of love and support from the community over the years in the death of her daughter Leah.
