Charles Cabral

At this time, no formal services are planned for long-time Port Orford resident, Charles Cabral, who died November 22, 2024 in Port Orford at the age of 93.

Charles was born November 17, 1931 in Raynham, Massachusetts, the son of john & Mary (DeMoura) Cabral.  He grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts, graduating from high school there. 

He married Betty Ruth Duncan in 1948.  He then served in the US Army.

He worked as a mechanic for American Can Company. 

They moved to Port Orford in 1990.  Betty preceded him in death in 1991.

Charles loved walking his dogs around Port Orford, Bonsai trees and gardening when he was younger.  He volunteered at the school in Port Orford and played bridge at the Senior Center.

He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Ohlott and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to Betty, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Steven Cabral and a daughter, Joan McKeegen.
