Cathleen Eileen Moody Weckmann

Cathleen Eileen Moody Weckmann, 71, of Bandon, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2021 in Brookings, Oregon.

Born December 19, 1949 in Glendale, California, she was the first daughter of Conley Price Moody and Geraldine Eileen Bradley-Moody.  Cathleen married Ricardo Francisco Weckmann on May 3, 1969 at Fort Monmouth Army base in Monmouth, New Jersey.  She was married 51 years at the time of her death and her husband Ricardo survives her.

Cathleen is also survived by her daughter, Regina Weckmann-Kincheloe, son-in-law Jeffrey Kincheloe of Coquille, OR; grandsons, Chase Allen Berry, spouse Misty Berry of Bandon, OR; and Zachary Allen Kincheloe, spouse Stephanie Kincheloe of Missoula, MT.  granddaughters Franchesca Eileen Weckmann of Milwaukie, OR, and , Hannah Kincheloe of Missoula, MT , great grandson, Konnley James Ellsworth Berry of Bandon, OR, sister, Rebecca Moody-Thomson, brother-in-law, Terry Thomson of Reno, NV niece, Kim Allen spouse Bob Allen of Layton, UT, nephew Trent Thomson of Waterloo, IA

She was preceded in death by her parents, Conley P. Moody of Yreka, CA and Geraldine E. Bradley-Moody of Coquille, OR, her son, Bryann Jayme Weckmann of Willows, CA and niece Stephanie Thomson-Davidson of Reno, NV

Cathleen was the most selfless, devoted and loving wife and mother. Her proudest achievements in her life were her marriage, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her education.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Oregon in 1991.

Cathleen spent countless hours supporting her husband, children and grandchildren.  She was always very supportive and involved in everything her family pursued.

Her hobbies included painting, quilting and sewing.  She was a true artist with all of her creations.  Her work was impecable and meticulous.  She also had a passion for  family history research.  She loved hearing about and searching for new family connections and ancestors.  Cathleen was very proud of her family’s history and her ancestor’s stories.  Cathleen was also a huge lover of all animals.  She enjoyed spoiling her family pets.

Cathleen will be misssed deeply by her family, extended family and friends.
