We are sorry to announce the death of Adam James Storm. He died, after 32 years of life, on August 22, 2024. Adam’s father, Sheldon James Storm, preceded him in death.
Adam began life on August 7, 1992, and lived it with joy and zeal. He left the earth too soon for those who said goodbye to him in a hospital in Corvallis, Oregon, after a tragic car accident. Those who grieve for Adam include: his mother, Michelle Sordahl, and her husband Steve of Port Orford, Oregon; three brothers—Codey, Alexander, and Matthew; his grandmother, Cathy Sordahl of Wakefield, MI; aunts and uncles; many friends; but most tragically, his young son Theodore (age two) and daughter Delilah (age four).
His children, full of life and light, were adored by their attentive, loving, and out-going “Daddy," who loved to play as much as the two children did. They flew kites together, played music, and went to church together. Adam loved music and was a skilled musician. He enjoyed instilling a great love of learning in his children. Seeing the inherent value in people and relationships, he used his intelligence and understanding to reach out, kindly and generously, to those he hoped to inspire to create their own dedication and discipline toward life.
Adam believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior, and his family take comfort knowing that, received into ever-lasting life, Adam is sure to recognize the words: “…Well done, good and faithful servant…”
