We only knew Mary through the NARFE chapter where she was treasurer for many years. She was always there, presenting her concise accurate report and chatting and welcoming members to the meetings. Such a sweet lady. She will be missed. Bob and Elaine Raper

Mary was a stalwart of our NARFE group. And to newcomers in Bandon, she demonstrated the true welcoming and loving spirit of the West. We'll always feel she's somehow present and watching over us.

I met Mary and Guy when they came to Bandon in 1994. They drove up our driveway as they were looking for a place to build. They were developing the property on Johnson Creek. So I have been her neighbor across the road where we have visited. I felt fortunate to visit with her one evening a couple weeks before her passing. A very gracious lady.
