Linda Jean Wiese, 69, a resident of the Coquille community died at her home Oct. 9, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Fri. Oct. 25, 2013 at 12 Noon at the First Christian Church, in Coquille with Pastor Kevin Boll officiating.

Private Cremation Rites have been held. Inurnment has been held at Portland Memorial Mausoleum in Portland.

Linda Jean Wiese was born Jan. 5, 1944 in Portland, Or. to John and Mary (Ralph Macini) Wickenkamp. She was raised and educated in Portland, having graduated from Grant High School. She attended business school and worked as a legal secretary.

Linda was united in marriage to Gary Wiese on Sept. 20, 1969 in Portland. Together they celebrated forty-four years of life together. They made their home in Coquille for the last forty-two years.

Among Marys’ personal interests she enjoyed sending cards and letters to her friends and family. She collected lady bugs and Precious Moments dolls.  She liked to travel and to talk with her friends and family on the phone.

Linda was a member of the Performing Arts Of Coquille, serving on the council and a member of the PEO.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her cousin, Henry Mancini.

Survivors include her husband, Gary, Coquille, two brothers; Jim Kelly, West Linn, Larry and Gigi, Sherwood, Sister, Tami and Jeff Westcott, Richland, Wa, sister in law, Cherie and Richard Kurtz, Oregon City, brother in law, Bill Wiese, Cottage Grove, sister in law, Patricia Holt, Maple Valley, Wa,

Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and caregivers.
