A dearly-loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather, son and brother, Harold C. Wrigley, 97, of Coquille, OR crossed over to his heavenly home at the Myrtle Point Care Center September 15, 2013 with his daughter and granddaughter present. He is now reunited with his creator and those loved ones who went before him. He was born July 26, 1916 in Fullerton, CA and resided in Coquille, OR for the past 34 years, having moved from Torrance, CA after retiring as a certified welder.  He graduated from Fullerton High School and was a member of the Steamfitters Union, a lifetime Masonic member and regularly attended the Christian Science Church of Coos Bay. Harold was in the United States Marine Corp during WW11 and received an Honorable Discharge.
Harold loved his family and the great outdoors; hunting and fishing were favorite pastimes. Harold was a man of many talents and knew no stranger. He will be remembered as a kind Samaritan, great story teller, listener and conversationalist who wore a welcoming smile and gave warm hugs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a grandson, great-grandson, grandson-in-law, his special four-legged companion Ginger, and his beloved wife, Marguerite “Jane” Wrigley. When asked, Harold would lovingly remark they were married 65 years, 8 months and 3 days. He is survived by brother Richard Wrigley and wife Dorothy of southern CA, daughter’s Donna McKee and husband James of Medford, OR; Rita Todd Kornbau and husband James of Coquille, OR; Deanna Randall and husband Wayne of Coquille, OR; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5th, at Myrtle Crest Memorial Gardens in Coquille OR; Amling/Schroeder Funeral Service of Coquille is in charge of services.. Christian counselor and granddaughter Stacy Jordan Forrest officiating.
